Trail Description:

Outstanding views of the Sicamous Channel, Shuswap Lake, and Mara Lake. Hang gliding ramp, steep cliffs.

At Sicamous Hwy 1, just east of the Hwy 97A junction, turn north onthe the Solsque-Sicamous Rd. Cross the bridge and the railroad tracks, and continue to your right on Solsqua-Sicamous Rd at 0.04 km turn left up the #1800 Forest Service Rd. Stay on the well-traveled road for 6.2 km, then turn left onto #1800-300 Rd for 1.6 km to the lookout. Bike up the forestry roads from the bottom, or drive all the way. Note: there's not really anywhere to hike here (unless you like forestry roads), but the view over Sicamous and the lake is spectacular.

CAUTION: Watch for rotting wood on the hang gliding ramp, and stay away from the edge. Watch for active logging traffic on these roads.
