About

Rubberhead started off as a single mountain bike trail in the late 1980’s and has expanded into a network of trails. Now, the area offers a variety of downhill mountain bike options for intermediate to advanced riders. From steep and rooty to open and flowy, this trail system has something for everyone. In the winter, the Rubberhead trails create a fun series of trails to explore on snowshoes.

The main lower parking is at 2.5 km up the 110 FSR. Here you will find parking and maps of the trail system. Climbing trails Double D and Rubberhead Climb can be ridden up to the 7 km mark on the 110 FSR or link Yellow Brick Road and Veggie Road to the Larch Hills Traverse for a scenic climb to the top of Half Baked. Downhill trailheads range from 4 km to 11 km up the 110 FSR.

Downhill trailheads range from 4 km to 11 km up the 110 FSR. You can shuttle up the FSR, ride climbing trails Double D and Rubberhead Climb up to the 7 km mark on the 110 FSR, or link Yellow Brick Road and Veggie Road to the Larch Hills Traverse for a scenic climb to the top of Half Baked. The trail system is looked after by the Shuswap Cycling Club. For more information, visit shuswapbike.com.

From the Muffin Top trailhead, the Half Baked trail links into the new Ida View trail to South Canoe, the Larch Hills trail system, and the Larch Hills Traverse to Sicamous. Together these trails can be linked into a variety of epic cross-country rides that are attracting visitors from far and wide. Lots of opportunity to get creative!

And in the winter the Rubberhead Trails create a fun series of trails to explore on snowshoes.
