About

Park Hill offers trail users a variety of single-track loops for hikers, mountain bikers, and snowshoers on both the west and east side of Park Hill Rod above Canoe Beach. Link to Canoe Beach, the Paddle Centre, boat launch, or ball diamonds at William Baker Park.

Take the outer perimeter trail for a full tour of the forest, extend the loop by crossing Park Hill Road, or mix it up by combining smaller loops using the connecting trails. Viewpoints can be found along the ridgeline on the far northwest outer loop. Mountain bikers shouldn’t miss the Holmes trail. The flowy corkscrew creates a fun figure-eight option linked to the Outer Loop and Sansom Trail. In the winter, bring your snowshoes or ice cleats, and once everything’s packed down these make great fat-tire mountain bike loops.

Remember: the Salmon Arm Rowing and Paddling's Paddle Centre is right at Canoe Beach. Link a Blueway paddle with a Greenway hike! (Check out: shuswaprowingandpaddling.com)
