Adrian BostockOperations Manager - Shuswap Trail Alliance

A reformed tree planter who worked in the silviculture industry for 15 years, Adrian started riding mountain bikes in 1997 and built his first mountain bike trail in 1998. In his 20s, Adrian spent many of his winters riding his bike throughout Asia. He spent a decade working for Tyax Adventures in the South Chilcotin Mountains as a mountain bike guide and general do-all. From 2010 to 2012 Adrian took Thompson Rivers University’s Adventure Management Diploma program. He spends his winters split boarding and xc skiing.

After a few stints as a member of the trail team, Adrian started working full-time for the STA in 2017. While he no longer spends as much time building trails as he gets credit for, Adrian makes it happen on the ground. Where there's a plan and people willing to make it happen, he provides the glue that brings it all together and turns it into reality overseeing our field project teams, volunteer days, and stewardship support. It takes just the right mix of experience, skill, practicality,  and good humour.
