About

Located at the north end of Anstey Arm in Anstey Hunakwa Provincial Park, this 1.5 km trail follows a creek from the sandy beaches of Anstey Arm through interesting old growth cedars and cottonwoods to Hunakwa Lake. The trail starts at a small marker sign on the west corner of the bay (on the west side of the west creek – you’ll have to cross the creek if you moored on the open beaches). It’s possible to portage the trail to paddle on Hunakwa Lake; the lake is remote and inaccessible by road so be prepared. bcparks.ca
