About

The Malakwa Park includes two pocket trail loops, one for walking and one for kids’ mountain bike skill development. Plus, tie it into a loop over the Malakwa suspension bridge and walking loop back to the new picnic tables for a very pleasant outing. Remember: these trails are for walking and bicycling. Please avoid motorized use to protect the softer trail surface from damage and to keep folks safe.

Access

Travel 17 km east of Sicamous on Hwy 1 and turn left (north) onto Malakwa Rd, just past the Malakwa Café. Follow this road for approx. 1.5 km until it meets the railroad tracks. Turn right (southeast) on Community Hall Rd and look for the Malakwa Park sign directly on your left (northeast side of the road). This can also be your staging area for the Malakwa Suspension Bridge loop walk.
