Shuswap Trails Ready to Rock!

Shuswap Trails Ready to Rock!

Shuswap Trails Ready to Rock!

Friends, you've done it again...the Annual Shuswap Trails Party and Fundraiser tickets sold out last week! And the auction sponsor line-up is out of this world! Well actually. . .its totally in this world - with lots of cool auction features to get you outside. Check out the incredible list of sponsors and items below.

Our huge huge huge thanks to all the auction sponsors contributing to kick off a new season of Shuswap Trails. It's shaping up to be a big one, with the latest news hot off the press seeing two of our technical trail specialists - Veda Roberge and Sutra Brett - on their way as you read this to Torres del Paine National Park in Patagonia, Chile to volunteer for two weeks with the AMA Torres del Paine conservation organization. Yes - we've caught international attention!

The STA and the AMA have been sharing an ongoing dialogue for several months on technical trail options that could help with some of the erosion issues being faced by what is one of the planets top hiking destinations. The AMA has flown Veda and Sutra down to share technical ideas to make the trail system more sustainable. In return, we get a chance to learn from AMA's years of organizational experience and introduce the Shuswap to an international audience. We'll get a peek into their journey and lessons when they get back in two weeks. Safe travels Veda and Sutra!!!
