About

This pocket park in Blind Bay is the perfect play spot for novice mountain bikers to practice. The trails roll and wind with built up berms to help new cyclists learn to ride the trails "pump style" using their own momentum. A walking-only upper trail leads to lovely benches at a viewpoint of the bike trails and another overlooking Copper Island. To make this a morning or afternoon outing with the kids, add a visit to the Cedar Heights community park playground by following the trail around the back of the community centre. And then round things out by following Sunrise Blvd down to Blind Bay Road and visit CSRD Park's Pebble Beach for a swim.

Access

Take the Blind Bay exit off Hwy 1 at Shuswap Lake Estates and follow Fairway Hills Rd northward into Cedar Drive watching for Mt Tuam Crescent on your right (east). Turn and watch for the trailhead parking on the left (north). Alternatively, park at the Cedar Heights Community Centre a little further down Cedar Drive and ride over.
