Approx 12 km north of Hwy 1 on Squilax-Anglemont Road, turn left (north) on the Scotch Creek (670) FSR. Continue on the 670 FSR for 22 km, then turn left (onto the Kwikoit Creek FSR off the 670 FSR) where the road takes a sharp turn crossing a creek. At 28 km the Adams FSR (Scotch-Pisima FSR) joins on the left. Keep right and stay on 670 (Kwikoit Creek FSR). Just before the 35 km marker turn off to the right onto 680 from here it is 4wd or park and start to hike. Cross a creek and take the next left, going steeply up the mountain on several switchbacks. Keep right. At 3.5 km from the 670 turn off watch for an ATV quad trail into the trees on the left. This is the beginning of the trail.
NOTE: If you reach a point where the road narrows due to land sliding you’ve gone too far. Back track, looking for the ATV track.
