Trail Description:

Newly Upgraded! This regional gem is now easier to walk, especially for families with strollers and assisted wheel chair exploration. A lovely forest nature trail with interpretive signs, ravine, creek, small bridges, wildflowers, picnic tables, museum, and heritage village.

PLEASE NOTE: there is an admission fee to enter the park:

$10 per adult, $9 - Seniors, $7 - Students (6-17 yrs of age), $Free - Children (0-5 yrs of age). As well, $5 group rates if called ahead.

East of Salmon Arm on Hwy 1, turn south at the Highway 97B junction drive 0.8 km to RJ Haney Heritage Village (watch for the entrance on your right.) The 2 km nature trail begins at the historic Mount Ida Church.
